RICHMOND, VIRGINIA (GaeaTimes.com)- The Virginia State Police have confirmed that there seems to be some new development on the Morgan Harrington case that took place in October last year. The student of the Virginia Tech University was hardly in her 20s when she disappeared, right after she had attended a Metallica concert with her friends. After she appeared at the concert, she had to go out for a while, and after that was denied entry by the guards. She notified her friends that she would manage to get back home, and that was the last time that anyone ever heard from her.

The Virginia Police Department has reported that they have found some new clues to the Morgan Harrington case. According to them, they have discovered some skeletal remains in Anchorage Farm. The police suspect that the remains may be those of Morgan Harrington herself, as Anchorage farm is about six miles from the place where the girl had last been spotted, in the John Paul Jones Arena. On being inquired why the remains had not been located before, the police claimed that the area had not been searched earlier, and was one of the few that had been given the miss in the search.

The medical examiner’s office in Richmond has received the remains, where an autopsy will be carried out. The police conclude that after the reports of the autopsy reach their hands, they would be able to start the investigations afresh, depending on the results. In fact, the new developments in the Morgan Harrington case point toward homicide, according to the police department of Virginia.
