Woman Maoist arrested in Jharkhand

RANCHI - A woman Maoist commander was Tuesday arrested from Jharkhands East Singhbhum district, police sources said.

The rebel was arrested on a tip-off from Gurabandha of East Singhbhum district, some 160 km from Ranchi. She is being interrogated to get more information, the sources added.

Police seized Maoist literature and some other incriminating materials from the arrested Maoist.
