RANCHI - Seven Maoists were Saturday arrested from the outskirts of Jharkhand’s capital Ranchi, police said.

On a tip-off, we raided a village under Khelari police station and arrested seven rebels of the Peoples Liberation Front of India. We seized four pistols and live cartridges from them, a police officer told IANS.

The Maoist-affected Khelari is around 45 km from here.
