Tehran, Feb 26 (IANS/AKI) Al Qaeda linked Sunni militant group Jundullah has announced its new leader three days after founder of the Iranian rebel group arrested in Pakistan.
NEW DELHI - India Thursday said it has given "enough evidence" about the involvement of Hafiz Saeed, the founder of the outlawed Jamaat-ud-Dawa, in the Mumbai carnage, but Pakistan sought to treat it as "literature" and insisted that it does not need a lecture from New Delhi on terror.
NEW DELHI - India and Pakistan held their first formal dialogue since the Mumbai terror attack here Thursday, but a breakthrough eluded them, with New Delhi making it clear that the time was "not yet ripe" for resuming composite dialogue till a climate of trust was created over its "core concern" over terror.
NEW DELHI - India and Pakistan held their first structured dialogue since the Mumabi terror attack here Thursday, with the over three-hour talks between foreign secretaries resulting in some warmth but their ties still marred by contrasting views on the way forward.
NEW DELHI - The government Thursday declined to take the initiative of declaring a ceasefire with the Left-wing radicals and allowed the deadline set by Communist Party of India-Maoist leader Koteshwar Rao alias Kishenji to lapse.
