Two Maoists arrested, weapons recovered

RANCHI - Two Maoist rebels were arrested Sunday from two places in Jharkhand and seven weapons were seized from them, police said.

Suimanji, an area commander of the banned Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist), was arrested from Daltanganj railway station of Palamau district and three carbines, two pistols and live cartridges were seized from him.

Another rebel was arrested from Hunterganj in Chatra district and police seized two rifles from him.
