PM condemns Moscow terror attacks

NEW DELHI - Strongly condemning the terrorist attack at Moscow’s airport, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Tuesday conveyed his deep anguish to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and underlined the need for India and Russia to work together to combat extremism.
In a message to Medvedev, Manmohan Singh expressed his deep anguish and condemnation of the terrorist attack at Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport Monday, the prime minister’s office said in a statement.
“Terrorism is a crime against humanity for which there can never be any justification, he wrote to Medvedev. India and Russia must continue to work together to combat the evil forces of violence and extremism, he said.
The prime minister conveyed condolences to the families of the 35 people killed in the suicide bombing at Moscow’s busy Domodedovo airport Monday that also wounded over 180 people.
