Bombs hurled at Bangladesh chief justice’s house

DHAKA - Two handmade bombs were hurled at Chief Justice of Bangladesh A.B.M. Khairul Haque’s home here, a media report said Friday. There were no casualties.

The incident took place Thursday night, The Daily Star reported.

Unidentified people hurled the bombs at the residence of chief justice at about 8.30 p.m. and fled the scene, a police officer told the newspaper.

Home Minister Sahara Khatun and senior police officials visited the scene after the blast, private television channel ATN Bangla reported.
