ISLAMABAD - Security agencies in Pakistan Sunday arrested three suspected terrorists in Wah Cantonment, 30 km from Islamabad.

Sources said banned chemicals, latest firearms and other sensitive materials were recovered from the arrested trio. “The arrested trio is also believed to be involved in looting and setting NATO containers on fire,” they said.

The security officials have shifted the three men to an unknown location and started investigations that ” are likely to lead to important clues”, the sources said.

The security agencies are also looking into possible links the three terrorists might have with the Taliban that has previously claimed responsibility for NATO attacks.

Containers carrying ammunition and other logistical supplies for NATO forces in Afghanistan have been using the route through Pakistan’s borders with the country.

Hundreds of such NATO containers have been set alight in the last few months and security forces have been trying to clamp down on the terrorists behind these activities.
