BHUBANESWAR - Maoists Tuesday shot dead a 33-year-old construction supervisor after dragging him out of his home in Nabrangpur district in Orissa, police said.

Four men killed Gadadhar Singh Rajput in Sambalpur village, Superintendent of Police P.C. Barik told IANS.

Rajput was supervising construction work taken up by a contractor, Barik said, suspecting extortion to be the reason behind the killing.
