ISLAMABAD - Militants Tuesday torched a plane in Pakistan, a media report said.

The aircraft, which belonged to a private airline company, was parked at an airport in Parachinar, the headquarter of the Kurram Agency, when it was set ablaze.

The plane used to fly between Peshawar and Parachinar once a week, the Online news agency reported. A probe was launched into the attack.
