Drone attack kills seven in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD - At least seven people were killed in a US drone strike in Pakistan’s northwestern tribal region Sunday morning, a media report said.

The drone fired two missiles at a house in Shoh area of North Waziristan bordering Afghanistan, Xinhua reported.

Details about the dead people were not immediately available.

Sunday’s strike was the sixth in October. Over the last 10 days, US drones have stepped up strikes at militant hideouts in the tribal region, killing at least 45 people including eight German nationals, believed to be trained for terror attacks abroad.
