MANILA (GaeaTimes.com) — The victims of the Manila bus hijack have been flown back to Hong Kong after two days of trauma. Today they observed as a mourning day at Philippine for the victims’ coffins were carried along with the survivors at the airport.
Philippine police have been accused of mismanagement and poor handling of the seige and many officers were suspended on this ground.
Manila airport witnessed a gloomy day as eight coffins were loaded into the plane. Most of the survivors of the seige returned safely back to their homes in the same plane.
