BANGALORE - External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna Thursday declined to comment on the Pakistan Supreme Court freeing Lashkar-e-Taiba Chief Hafiz Saeed from house arrest.

“I have not seen the reported decision of the Pakistan Supreme Court. After going through it I will be in a position to comment,” he told reporters here.

India says Saeed masterminded the November 2008 Mumbai carnage in which 166 people were killed.

Pakistan’s Supreme Court Tuesday set Saeed free from house arrest citing lack of evidence.
