Rs.3 lakh reward for clues to Delhi blast suspects

NEW DELHI - Delhi Police Commissioner Y.S. Dadwal Thursday increased the reward amount from Rs.1 lakh to Rs.3 lakh for the arrest of three terror suspects wanted in the September 2008 serial blasts in the national capital.

“The amount has been increased from Rs.100,000 to Rs.300,000 for a period of one year for any one who can give information or render any help leading to the arrest of three militants,” a police officer said.

The wanted terrorists have been identified are Mohammad Sajid, 20, Mirza Sadab Baig, 25, and Mohammad Khalid, 25. They all belong to Azamgarh in Uttar Padesh.

The police said they are “dreaded terrorists” and wanted in serial bomb blast incidents which occurred Sep 13, 2008, in Delhi. At least 25 people were killed and 100 injured in the five blasts.

The police have arrested some of their accomplices in the past two years.
