BANGALORE - Karnataka police Wednesday released sketch of a young man suspected to be behind the twin blasts barely an hour ahead of an Indian Premier League match at Bangalore’s M. Chinnaswamy Stadium April 17.

The man is around 5.5 ft height, medium built and dark complexioned.

The sketch was released by Bangalore city police commissioner Shankar Bidari at a press conference here.

The twin blasts injured 16 people and delayed the start of Royal Challengers Bangalore match against Mumbai Indians by one hour.

A third explosive device was recovered when the match was on and two more such devices were found Sunday following which the two semi-finals scheduled to be played at the Chinnaswamy Stadium on April 21 and April 22 were shifted to Navi Mumbai.

Bidari denied reports in a section of the media that five suspects were arrested in Hubli in north Karnataka, about 400 km from here, late Tuesday in connection with the blasts.

“They are suitcase lifters,” he said.
