Bodies of six Indians killed in Kabul brought back (Second lead)

NEW DELHI - A special India Air Force plane carrying the bodies of six Indians killed in the Kabul terror attack arrived Saturday evening here, where President Pratibha Patil attended the wreath-laying ceremony.
The special plane carrying six coffins draped in the national tricolour landed at the Palam air base, behind the domestic airport, around 6 p.m. Some of the injured were also flown back from Kabul to New Delhi. The injured were taken to the Army’s Research and Referral hospital here.
President Pratibha Patil and Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao attended the wreath-laying ceremony. All the dead were given military honours.
Seventeen people, including six Indians, were killed when Taliban bombers attacked a hotel and three more buildings in the heart of the Afghan capital Friday.
