Four militants killed in Pakistan blast

ISLAMABAD - Four militants were killed and five injured Tuesday when a bomb exploded prematurely inside a house in Pakistan’s northwestern tribal region, Xinhua reported.

Officials said the militants wanted to blow up the house after using it in Alisherzai Dar area of Kurram agency. But the bomb went off prematurely, killing four militants and injuring five.

Residents in Alisherzai Dar have vacated the area due to ongoing military operation against the militants.
