Four Maoists arrested in Bihar

PATNA - Four Maoist guerrillas were arrested in Bihar’s Gaya district Thursday, police said.

Acting on a tip, a joint team of the Special Task Force and railway police arrested the four from Gaya railway station.

Gaya Superintendent of Police Amit Lodha said the men were involved in criminal activity.

They were identified as Naresh Das, Alakhdeo Rajvanshi, Vijay Ram and Vinod Kumar. All were described as active members of the Communist Party of India-Maoist.
