PATNA - Police found 1,250 detonators were found in a bus in Bihar’s Aurangabad district, a development that raised further concern over increase in Maoist activity in the state.

Police said Thursday the bus conductor informed them that a big black bag had been kept in the bus by an unidentified man.

The man, who was told by the conductor to return soon when he was getting off the Ranchi-bound bus from Sasaram district headquarters of Rohtas, is missing.

Police suspect the detonators were meant for use by Maoists.
