Security forces surround house with militants

SRINAGAR - Security forces Monday surrounded a house in Kashmir’s Pulwama district following reports that a group of militants was hiding inside.

A senior police official told IANS that personnel of the state police, the Rashtriya Rifles and the paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) have surrounded the house in Abhama village of the district, 43 km from here, after reports that two or three militants of the Hizbul Mujahideen were inside.

The house has been completely surrounded and flood-lights put up all around it.

However, no exchange of fire has been reported from the site.
