Youth held for e-mail links with guerrilla groups

SRINAGAR - A youth was Sunday arrested for suspected e-mail links with some separatist guerrilla groups, Jammu and Kashmir Police sources said here.

“We have arrested a suspect for e-mail links with some separatist guerrilla groups,” a high placed source told IANS.

“The interrogation of the suspect is going on. It has not yet been confirmed whether or not the suspect was linked to the heightened terror alert in Delhi,” the source added.

The national capital has been on high alert since Saturday after the US, Australia, Britain and Canada issued fresh security advisories to their citizens, warning of likely terror attacks in crowded markets of the Indian capital.
