Three Maoists held in Orissa

BHUBANESWAR - Three Maoists were arrested Friday in Orissa’s Malkangiri district, police said.

The rebels were arrested during a combing operation conducted by police in a forested area, Superintendent of Police Anirudh Singh told IANS.

A home-made gun was recovered from them, he said.

Malkangiri, 618 km from Bhubaneswar, is considered a Maoist

stronghold.
