Maoist commander arrested in Jharkhand

RANCHI - A Maoist commander, wanted in more than 13 cases, was arrested from Jharkhand’s Palamau district Saturday, police said.

According to police, Jai Prakash alias Satishji, an area commander of Maoist organisation Tritiya Prastuti Committee (TPC), was arrested on a tip-off from Patarkhonia village.

A revolver, live cartridges and some incriminating documents were recovered from the arrested rebel.
