BAGHDAD - Six people were killed and four injured in a car bomb attack in northern Baghdad Sunday, a police source said.

“A car parked in a garage near a police station exploded, killing six people, including policemen, and injuring four others,” the source said.

The explosion caused sever damage to a number of cars inside the garage.

Iraqi civilians and security forces have increasingly come under attack in recent months, as a nearly eight-month political impasse surrounding the formation of a new government has dragged on.
