MUMBAI - The Bombay High Court Tuesday viewed CCTV footage of the terrorists’ attack on Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus here on the night of Nov 26, 2008.

The division bench comprising Justice Ranjana Desai and Justice R.V. More viewed the footage during the proceedings for confirmation of death sentence awarded to 26/11 attack accused and Pakistani terrorist Mohammed Ajmal Amir Kasab.

The judges will list their observations Wednesday after they view another footage.

Government counsel Ujjwal Nikam earlier submitted that Kasab had confessed to killing Amarsingh Solanki, the navigator of a fishing vessel ‘Kuber’ which was used by the 10 Pakistani terrorists to sail to Mumbai ahead of the Nov 26, 2008, terror attack.

Nikam also submitted the chronology of the events on Nov 26.

Kasab attended the court proceedings through video conferencing only for 10 minutes in the morning.

“He remained absent throughout the day after that,” said Farhana Shah, Kasab’s lawyer.

Kasab was May 6 awarded the death penalty for the 26/11 attack, in which 166 people were killed. He is at present lodged in the high-security Arthur Road prison in Mumbai.
