16 injured in grenade attack in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD - At least 16 people were injured in a grenade attack Thursday morning in northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan.

An unidentified person attacked a shop with a hand grenade in a crowded market in Bannu district, Xinhua said, citing local media reports.

According to hospital sources, most of the injured are in stable condition.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
