PATNA - More than 200 armed Maoists raided a Bihar village and abducted 11 villagers on suspicion of being police informers, police said Monday.

The guerrillas swooped on Kaimur district’s Launda village, about 150 km from here, late Sunday and abducted the villagers at gunpoint for allegedly helping police against them.

“More than 200 armed Maoists surrounded the village and abducted 11 villagers,” a police official said.
