Explosion in Kabul

KABUL - An explosion, caused by a suicide bomber, took place near the foreign ministry here Saturday, an official said.

“The explosion was a suicide attack and took place on the road leading to the foreign ministry,” Xinhua reported quoting a security official.

The foreign ministry is situated next to the Presidential Palace.
