ISLAMABAD - At least four people were killed Friday during a suspected US drone attack in Pakistan’s North Waziristan tribal area, media reports said.
A drone fired two missiles at a house early morning after hovering for some time over the Datta Khel area of Miranshah, the main city in North Waziristan, Xinhua quoted private TV channel Express as saying.
In the attack, at least four persons were killed and three were injured, the channel said.
Suspected US drones late Thursday fired two missiles against a compound in Mirali area of North Waziristan, killing at least three persons.
The US drones regularly hit hideouts of the militants in the Pakistani tribal region, which Washington considers as the centre of Taliban and Al Qaeda remnants. Pakistan opposes the US strikes inside the country’s tribal regions.
