Two militants killed in Kashmir

JAMMU - Two militants were killed in a fierce gunfight with security forces in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir late Tuesday night, police said.
One of the slain militants has been identified as Mushtaq Ahmad, a self-styled divisional commander of militant outfit Hizb-ul-Mujahadeen and the other as his associate, Shabir Ahmad.
The over two hour long gunfight took place in Mahore forest area of Deederan Gali, about 150 km north of Jammu.
The bodies of the militants have been recovered. Other details were awaited.
