LONDON - Al Qaeda has threatened to abduct Prince Harry if he dares to fly an Apache helicopter in Afghanistan.
People who support the Osama bin Laden-led terror group have posted the warnings on a known Al Qaeda Arabic website, Daily Express reported Sunday.
Harry, 25, was presented with his pilot’s “wings” by his father Prince Charles Friday and he has been selected for Apache training.
“Wouldn’t it be sweeeeeeeet if the Mujahideen could capture that pig!,” a person wrote on the website.
Another said: “It would be wonderful if we capture this bastard alive after shooting down his Apache.”
The web forum was one of the first to issue a video in which a spokesman for the Pakistan Taliban claimed responsibility for the attempted car bombing of Times Square in New York.
The media report said that researchers have found the site receives most of its traffic from jihadists based in Britain and the US.
