Two Maoists held with arms, explosives

BHUBANESWAR - Two Maoist guerrillas were arrested Sunday in Orissa’s Gajapati district with arms and explosives, police said.

Manas Majhi alias Laden, 35, and Jisio Pradhan alias Bulu, 22, were arrested by security personnel during a combing operation in Adaba area of the district, Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Arora told IANS.

A gun and about 25 detonators, used to trigger explosives, have been seized from them. “The arrested rebels were involved in at least three-four crimes,” Arora said.
