One militant killed in Jammu and Kashmir gunbattle

JAMMU - A suspected Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) militant was killed in a gunbattle that started between security forces and militants in Baghla area of Kalkakote in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district Thursday.

The Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir police raided a suspected hideout of the militants in Baghla area in Rajouri district, about 200 km north of Jammu. In the gun battle that followed, one militant suspected to belong to LeT was killed, according to police.
