Three Maoist rebels arrested in Jharkhand

RANCHI - Three Maoist rebels were arrested in Jharkhand’s Ramgarh district Thursday, police said.

According to police, the three, belonging to Jharkhand Prastuti Committee (JPC), were arrested in Ramgarh, 65 km from Ranchi, when they were making calls to extort money from a businessman. They have been identified as Ashok Ram, Manoj Ram and Vikki Kumar.

An illicit home-made pistol, live cartridges, three mobiles and other objects were seized from them.
