20 security men killed in Maoist strike in West Midnapore

KOLKATA - At least 20 security force personnel were killed in a Maoist attack in a village in West Midnapore district in West Bengal, an official said Monday.

West Midnapore district magistrate N.S. Nigam said that 20 members of the joint security forces, deployed in the district to fight Maoists, were killed by the Leftwing rebels in Shilda village.
