10 killed in Iraq bombing

BAGHDAD - Ten people were killed and many wounded Wednesday in a bomb explosion in southern Iraq, police said.
The bomb was detonated near a technical institute in Karbala city, some 100 southwest of Baghdad.
Dozens of Shia pilgrims had gathered at the site to observe the annual ritual of Arbaeen when the blast took place, Xinhua reported.
