QUETTA - Three people, including two policemen, were injured in a blast in this Balochistan capital Friday, police said.

Asif Ejaz Sheikh, the city’s deputy inspector general of police (Operations), told DawnNews that a police team had signalled a suspicious-looking man to stop in the Killi Ibrahimzai area.

As the policemen tried to search the man, he triggered an explosive device strapped to his leg, injuring himself and two police constables.

The injured were rushed to the Bolan Medical Complex Hospital for treatment.
