11 killed in Karachi blast

KARACHI - Eleven people were killed and over 50 injured in a powerful explosion Friday near a furniture market in Pakistan’s Karachi city, a media report said.
The blast occurred in a mini bus on the Sharah-e-Faisal road, Geo TV said. Women and children were among the injured. Hospital sources confirmed at least 11 deaths.
