Domestic Spying


WASHINGTON - FBI Director Robert Mueller says the bureau's domestic surveillance guidelines are being used properly and that agents are not employing them to target people for investigation based on race.

WASHINGTON - Under fire from civil liberties groups, the FBI is defending domestic surveillance guidelines that critics fear could unfairly target innocent Muslims in terrorism and other criminal investigations.
