Port-au-PRINCE - Time was rapidly running out Friday to find survivors from the devastating earthquake in Haiti as piles of dead bodies filled the streets of its devastated capital.
GENEVA/PORT AU PRINCE - Thousands of people were flocking Friday to makeshift hospitals run by the charity Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders) in the quake-devastated Haitian capital Port au Prince in need of immediate medical aid that was unavailable.
GENEVA - Over 268 million dollars has been pledged by organisations and governments around the world to help the humanitarian rescue efforts in Haiti, the United Nations said Friday.
