NEW YORK - UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon slammed a suicide bombing in Pakistan which killed 46 people at a food distribution centre, according to an overnight statement Sunday.

“He unequivocally condemns this abhorrent act of terrorism aimed at innocent people,” said the statement from Ban. He sent his “heartfelt condolences” to Pakistan.

A suspected female attacker blew herself up at a UN World Food Programme distribution centre in Pakistan’s restive tribal Saturday.
