Another mosque blast in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD - Another blast took place at a mosque in northwest Pakistan Friday, hours after a suicide bomb attack left at least 60 people dead in a mosque in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, a media report said.

The latest blast occurred at a mosque in the Suleman Khel area of Peshawar, Geo TV reported, citing police.

Dozens of people were present in the mosque at the time of the attack.

Meanwhile, police have cordoned off the area. The rescue work is continuing. No further detail was immediately available.

Earlier, at least 60 people were killed and over 100 wounded when a suicide bomber struck at a mosque near the Kohat town of the province. Kohat is about 70 km from Peshawar.
