24 hurt in Manila blast

MANILA - Twenty-four people were wounded in a blast in Manila Sunday, Xinhua reported. The injured were taken to hospitals.

The blast occurred around 5 p.m. at the Taft Avenue near De La Salle University in the Philippine capital, police said.

Officials have launched a probe into the incident.
