Clemson University Student Arrested For Homicide

CLEMSON (Gaea Times.com)- A 25 year old student of Clemson University by the name of Richard Brandon Lewis has been accused and arrested on the charges of homicide by child abuse and homicide by aiding and abetting in child abuse. The Clemson University student has been accused for the death of a 16 month old girl child who died last year in the month of October as a result of abuse or neglect. The mother of the 16 month old girl who died, Ashley Hepburn was arrested last year in connection with the case. The relationship or the connection between Ashley Hepburn and Richard Brandon Lewis is not clear.

The Clemson University student Richard Brandon Lewis was arrested on the University campus on Friday by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division or SLED, and they are conducting the investigation at the request of the request of the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office. The crime is reported to have taken place on or about October 12-13, 2009 at a Cross Hills home in Lauren’s County. The mother of the girl child was arrested last year in connection with the case by the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office.

Richard Brandon Lew a student of the Clemson University has also been slapped with another round of charges relating to homicide by child abuse, aiding and abetting. The second crime happened on or about August 1 - October 13, 2009 at a Cross Hill home in Laurens County. The first crime took place at a Cross Hill Home in Laurens County as well. The student has harmed the reputation of the Clemson University by his acts of utmost inhumanity.
