Pune Girl Aditi Jagtap Arrested For Rash Driving

PUNE, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com) — Aditi Jagtap, a 22-year old girl from Pune was taken into police custody after she lost control while driving her Mercedes and hit 15 vehicles and six civilians.

The incident took place on Tuesday night when Aditi was heading towards her friend’s house in Kondwa Road. She hit an elderly woman and then lost control of her vehicle that made her Mercedes to hit six cars, three autos and one bus. No casualties were reported.

According to eye witnesses Aditi tried to fled away from the site but pedestrians chased her. She was then arrested for negligent and rash driving. Later on she was admitted to the hospital for medical check-up. Police confirmed that her medical reports were normal and she was not drunk.

Aditi Jagtap is the daughter of a renowned cardiologists, Dr Ranjit Jagtap at Ruby Hospital and she was reportedly driving the Mercedes car for the first time.
