3 killed in N. Hollywood restaurant shooting

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Authorities say three people have been killed and two others wounded in a shooting at a restaurant in North Hollywood.

Los Angeles Police Officer Rosario Herrera says an emergency call came in Saturday afternoon from the Hot Spot Cafe on Riverside Drive. When officers arrived, three people were dead and the gunman had fled.

Herrera says one of the two people wounded is hospitalized in critical condition. The condition of the other victim is unknown.

Police are searching for the suspected gunman, described only as male around 30 years old.

A motive for the attack is unknown.
