Moscow, Feb 6 (IANS/RIA Novosti) Authorities ordered an evacuation of passengers from the Leningradsky and Yaroslavsky train stations in Moscow following a bomb threat, a police source said Sunday.

The move followed an anonymous telephonic warning that a bomb had been placed at a train station. Security forces immediately began combing train stations elsewhere in the city too.

Police in Moscow are on high alert since the deadly terrorist blast at the capital’s Domodedovo airport Jan 24 that killed 36 people.

Last weekend, police evacuated several shopping malls in Moscow after bomb threats.
