Pakistani official dies in suicide attack

PESHAWAR - A senior police official was killed in a suicide attack in this Pakistani city, a media report said Monday.

Geo TV reported that Deputy Superintendent of Police Rashid Khan was killed in the suicide attack that took place in Garhi Qamardin area of Peshawar.

Police said Khan’s vehicle was targeted by the suicide attacker when he was patrolling in the area.
