Maoist kill village headman in Jharkhand

RANCHI - Maoist guerrillas Thursday abducted and killed a village headman in Jharkhand’s Khuti district, accusing him of being a police informer, police said.

According to police, Karam Singh Munda was abducted by the Maoists from Arki market of Khuti, around 65 km from Ranchi. He was first beaten up and later shot dead.

Maoists left a pamphlet besides the body charging him being a police informer.
