FATEHGARH SAHIB - Police Monday arrested three suspected Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) terrorists from Bugga Kanchiya village in Fatehgarh Sahib district of the state.

We had secret information that terrorists will pass through this village in a car. Our special team laid a trap and intercepted the car. They were identified as Kulwinder Singh, Rashpal Singh and Jasmer Singh, police said.

We have also recovered three pistols and 18 cartridges from them. From the preliminary investigation, it seems that they belonged to banned BKI group. Our investigation is on and we are hoping to arrest more such terrorists in the coming days, police added.

During the last few months, Punjab police have arrested around 25 dreaded terrorists, belonging to BKI and other pro-Khalistan groups, from various parts of the state.
